With lot of enthusiasm and excitement, I am unveiling my works in progress of upcoming collection. From sketches to prototype, I would love to share the evolution of each piece, the inspiration for each of them, highlighting the journey from concept to completion.
The Inspiration
Every once in a while, life presents us with moments that leave a beautiful mark on our hearts. For me, it was when my husband and I celebrated our 10th year wedding anniversary by exploring the vibrant and captivating East Coast of United States.
When the whole world is a beautiful place, how does one choose the right location to celebrate a special milestone in one’s life. From turquoise waters of Seychelles to vast safaris of Africa, we looked at every possible location for our vacation.
Right when nothing seemed to fit the timeline, visiting the United States became a ray of hope. Immediately we got our visas ready, flight tickets booked and were ready to travel to the US. I had already been to the warm west coast and windy Chicago, so EAST COAST was the most fitting yet exciting location for us to visit.
From the sun-soaked beaches of Miami to the historic bloom filled streets of Washington, D.C., and the bustling energy of New York City, these places became a carpet of cherished memories for us.
Translating Inspiration into Art:
I will soon tell you a detailed story of each of these mind-blowing locations that we visited, but its what happened after we returned home is more important. As I entered my serene empty studio back home, I wanted to find a way to immortalize the memories we had created.
Inspired by this unforgettable journey, I went on a creative path to capture the essence of these special locations through my art.
I picked up my paints, brushes and paper and began to add life with colors and emotions that touched my heart during our journey. Each painting is a conduit for the joy, wonder and appreciation I felt for these places.
MIAMI
I sought to capture the essence of Miami’s vibrancy with palm trees dancing on the banks of turquoise water, the pastel shades of buildings and the playfulness in the atmosphere.
And oh my, am I proud of how beautiful the paintings have turned out. I have already created 2 paintings, but there are two more remaining to be completed.
NEW YORK CITY
Like Alicia Keys said in her song, there is something about the ceaseless energy of New York City.
The never ending hustle bustle combined with serenity of Central park fueled me to create artworks that would showcase the spirit of this magnificent place!

WASHINGTON; D.C.
There is something about the vastness and grandeur of National Mall, the iconic monuments and the lush cherry blossoms that left an everlasting impression on my heart.
And combining the essence of spring with the regal architecture, I have created a few pieces (psst…these are my favorite from the collection) that will evoke a deep appreciation for the beauty of heritage.
Collection Details and Launch
I hope that this brief sneak peek into my upcoming collection, has sparked the wanderlust soul in you.
As a travel enthusiast myself, I always pick up a postcard or two from the places I visit to remember them, to cherish them. So I just knew that this collection had to be a collection of artistic postcards.
There will be 8 postcards in total, with a dedication to each place that we visited. I am currently in the creation phase. But soon I will be able to reveal everything about the launch.
